Infectious Disease Physician opportunity located in picturesque Ithaca, New York. Join an Integrated, Innovative, Independent Provider Lead Health Care System with Excellent Quality of Life.  This is a full time, health system employed Infectious Disease position with heavy participation in our Internal Medicine Residency Program and development of inpatient consult services. We have a full complement of medical and surgical sub-specialty service lines to support our growing healthcare network including ample support from advanced providers, nursing and support staff. Cayuga Health offers a competitive base salary and incentives.   

• Exposure to a range of inpatient and outpatient cases including osteomyelitis, endocarditis, tick borne infections, hospital acquired infections, TB, NTM, HIV, Hepatitis B and C.  Existing travel clinic with opportunities for expansion.
• Opportunities in hospital infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship are available.
• Research and teaching opportunities with Cayuga Medical Center residency program as well as Northeast Regional Center for Excellence in Vector Borne Diseases at Cornell University.
• Future projects include developing a telemedicine consult service for an affiliated critical access hospital.
